Activate your compost heap with Garotta or Garden Lime and Sulphate of Ammonia. This improves the structure of the compost, neutralises the pH and speeds up the composting process. 15g of Sulphate of Ammonia per layer of compost.
Treat lawns infested with lawn clover with a lawn weedkiller.
Give your plants and vegetables a liquid feed to boost flowers and growth.
Keep Potato Blight under control with fungicide
It’s time to propagate your cuttings so prepare a suitable compost using Perlite and Multi-purpose compost.
Attack weeds that are actively growing as uptake is quicker and more effective.
Before storing any bulbs that you have dug up dust them down with Yellow Sulphur to protect them from Fungal attacks.
Keep sowing salad crops for a season long supply.
Dead head roses- prune back to a bud in a leaf axil lower down the stem. This will encourage strong new shoots.
After dead heading feed roses to give them a boost.
